ok, there's one thing wrong about that thing.

it was confirmed months ago that Michael Madsen was playing Toni again, was it not?

But if you listen to one of the videos on thewebsite, where Vinchenzo gets Tony an apartment, when Tony thanks him it sounds different.

Yeah, it's not Michael Madsen. I'm not sure it was ever confirmed he would return, I think people just assumed he would because he's a big name and he played Toni in gta3.

Never mind though. Shouldn't affect the game too much.

I'm actually starting to really dislike this game now, judging by these things that were recently confirmed. The radio stations suck, all the original actors playing these parts aren't on the game now, and the rewards for doing some of these missions are crap. Why wouldn't they make rewards as unlockables like in SA. Like how when you complete the BMX thing, your bike skills, and bunny hop abilities increase.

I bet money won't even become a factor in this game because if you have a lot of it, i bet you won't even be able to buy some of the bigger guns until later in the game. I bet Ammu-Nation will only have like 3 guns for sale like in GTA III, which sucks also.

I just hope there's no more disappointments about the game. It's really making me not want it no more.

true. One thing I liked about the older games though was these great actors doing the voices. I guess it was a mistake on their (R*) part to make a great game like SA with a ton of new features, and then come up with this game which is way under what people's expectations are for it. To me it seems like it's only a halfassed game compared to the ones on PS2.

Maybe I'll change my mind about it once I play it. The part that bugs me though is when you do some of these side missions you get nothing worthwhile. No unlockables, just the same old crap, like 150 armor and health, fireproof, etc. and money. I think it said it unlocks certain cars too, which is a start.

I think you were expecting way too much from this game Umberto.
This is a PSP remember. Not a PS2.

It was never going to be as complex as SA was.

As long as I'm getting back to Liberty, which is an awsome city IMO, and getting the chance to ride bikes and, from what has recently been posted, fly choppers Very Happy I'm happy!

Now all we need is to find out that swimming HAS actually been added and I'll be over the moon.

I wasn't expecting much with this game. But the main things that I WAS expecting aren't there. I expected Michael Madsen to be playing Toni for one. And I was hoping (Hope being the operative word) that when you do some side missions it would unlock certain things, instead of just giving you money. That's all I was really expecting. I never expected it to be even half of what SA was. Oh and I did kind of expect a half decent soundtrack. That's not too much to expect for a PSP game. One good music station for rock, classic rock or metal as well as a talk radio station isn't too much to ask.

Maybe they didn't put as much money into this venture, that's the only reason I can think of for the actors not being there, and the music being crappy.

To be honest I remember thinking that the San Andreas soundtrack lineup was shit, but when I played it, I remembered some of the tracks and it wasn't too bad. The drum n bass lineup looks good as does the dance music lineup, but i'm not too familiar with the other tracks.

no, what I mean is that it seems that they put crap on there, not licensed music. I don't really care if I heard of it or not, because some stuff on SA I got used to, and never heard of before. I think what they did with this one is just wrote most of their own music for it, and just put in really unknown artists to save money. On SA, they had a lot of hip hop people I never heard of, but at least the stuff sounds good.

I would take a popular artist that i've never heard of, over the crap like in LCS anyday! I doubt I'll be listening to any of the stations then. I can't even sit through the crappy stations in GTA III, they're that bad!

but I think whatever the talk radio station is, is all I'll be listening to, unless I can figure out how to get custom tracks added in. But that will suck, because I like the commercials and dj's and all that, that only R* can do so well.

I know it shouldn't matter that much, but having different actors kind of ruins things for me.

Donald Love was originally voiced by Kyle McLachlan, for example.

I feel pretty much the same way as Umberto about the game. But at the same time, I don't want to judge it too much until I've actually played it.

The only thing is, I can't decide whether I want to pay the £200 plus £70 for a memory stick plus the price of the game, plus the price of additional battery packs etc...

I'm trying not to judge too much either, but I just had to voice my disinterest in the actors and the soundtrack. I still want to get the game, just not nearly as much. I'm not as excited about it. Seems now like it's a halfass version of GTA III, with a different storyline, minus the great actors like Kyle Maclaughlan, Michael Madsen and Robert Loggia.

I know what ya mean though about all those prices. Is it really 79 pounds for a memory stick? that's bad!

Yeah i really don't get those prices. It's £79 for a PSP memory stick, but only £20 for a memory card.

But i'm with tony, I didn't know more thjan 3/4 of the songs on SA but then cos I played for ages started remembering them.
