The community

This site is the current home of a Grand Theft Auto fan forum that ran for the better part of twenty years. It started out as gta-sa.com in the San Andreas era and was renamed gta4play.com when the community moved on to GTA IV — same people, same forum, a new name.

The old phpBB board isn't running here right now — the backup is safe, and it may come back. In the meantime, where the GTA community gathers today:

• GTAForums — the largest and oldest GTA community, with active GTA IV sections.
• r/GTAIV and r/GTA on Reddit.
• Rockstar Newswire — official news.
